Diners’ Choice Awards 2020 Vancouver :: Winners. Start your tasting journey. Presented by Airland Mattress

Eat well. Sleep Well. Presented by Airland Mattress Canada[1], 2020 Diners’ Choice Awards reveals Vancouver’s best of the best with 34,917 votes in 24 categories, resulting in a new dining guide for next 365 days crafted by dining public, highlighting trends in Chinese and Taiwanese dining.

This year, four iconic regional dishes Best Steamed/Baked BBQ Pork Bun, Best Sichuan Spicy Grill Fish, Best Lamb Skewer, and Best Brown Sugar Milk were added to raise the public’s interest in finding the restaurant that excels in making a signature dish. Each new category was decided based on the dish’s reputation as being popular or as a staple dish in a particular region in China and Taiwan or containing an outstanding local ingredient for Chinese and Taiwanese cuisine.

Winners of the 2020 Diners’ Choice Awards will be invited to attend the 12th annual Chinese Restaurant Awards Ceremony at the Vancouver Club. The date and time will be determined according to government regulations on social gatherings. For any inquiries, please contact the Awards.[2]

2020 has been a challenging year, especially for Vancouver Chinese and Taiwanese restaurants that saw a dramatic decline in business since the end of January. Outstanding Chinese food has been an integral part of the Vancouver lifestyle. The Chinese Restaurant Awards encourage diners to continue to explore and support all restaurants to get through this uncertain time.
